Things I found Challenging This Week

     I found it difficult to comprehend the "check-expect" part of this week's exercises.  I have a vague understanding of it currently, and would like to master it soon.  It took me several tries, over several hours, to finally be successful in this particular exercise.  I was quite pleased when it said my tests succeeded.

Things I Found Easy This Week

     I found the exercise easy where I had to define a particular word.  It was quite simple to associate an image, a sentence, or numbers to a particular word.  I thought it was convenient to use these words when using DrRacket because they save a lot of time when doing the exercises.

Material This Week

     I found the material covered this week to be  more of a challenging than last week's material, but I found this week's material to be more interesting, compared to that of last week.  I have the basics understood of the material covered this week, and my goal is to improve my understanding of the material covered in the course so far.

Something New I Learned

     This week I learned how to alter the position and shape of pictures on DrRacket.  I also learned to figure out how to find the amount of pixels that make up the pictures.    I learned how to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers on the programming language.  I also learned to to count the characters in something within quotation marks.

What I Enjoyed This Week in Class

     I found it very entertaining when Professor Heap made the peanut butter and jam sandwich in class.  It was an entertaining way to teach.

Challenges This Week

     I found that some of my programming errors were frustrating me, when I was trying to learn a new programming language.

Material for the Week

     I feel that I have a solid understanding of the material covered this week; the videos were really helpful in teaching how to do the exercises.
